What is Microneedling?
Microneedling with Dermapen creates tiny punctures in the skin and the body responds in a natural way by initiating processes to repair the physical damage. The result is and increased production of normal woven collagen, similar to fractional laser treatments, but without the side effects and downtime. Using the Dermapen Microneedle, allows for millions of fine micro-channels to be created in the skin. These channels can carry up to 80% more topical nutrients, allowing for transdermal delivery of these nutrients deeper into the skin to feed cells found in the dermis and basal layer of the epidermis.

Microneedling is good for all skin types who want to have fine lines, want skin tightening, have enlarged pores, have aged skin. It is also good for those who want to treat the appearance of acne scars, stretch marks, burn or surgical scars. What to Expect
Treatments are relatively painless. Generally, there is no downtime, but you may experience facial redness for 12-48 hours after the treatment. Most people are able to return to normal activities immediately after treatment. Typically you will see results after the first treatment. Lasting and more significant results will become visible after 4 to 6 treatments (spaced 4-6 weeks apart). The condition of your skin will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months after a course of treatments, especially when combined with the recommended post-treatment care.
